A concept album of darkly wild tales presented as half moody radio drama and half deranged 'cabaret noir', inspired by colonial ghost stories, cryptozoology, folklore, it's essentially a tribute to the wilder regions of the imagination and the unknown - not so much 'about things' as about the imagined idea of things.

Pete Reid on songwriting/compositions/intro and outro dialogue, lead vocals, guitar, toy accordion and glockenspiel. Jean MacArthur Brown on junk percussion and backup vocals. Kirri Buchler on violin, backup vocals, sound design and co-arrangements. Will Morgan Tait on piano, backup vocals and co-arrangement. Renato Vacirca on piano in track 4, 6 and 11, backup vocals, and bass in on track 5. Anto Macaroni on bass in all other tracks, and backup vocals.
